Laufen ist ihre Leidenschaft. Angela Wegele und Manfred Wicht,
passionierte Ultraläufer, haben ihr Ziel erreicht.
Mit unterschiedlichen Begleiter*innen sind sie den gesamten Albschäferweg in 24 Stunden gelaufen. Die sportlich ambitionierte Aktion wurde außerdem dazu genutzt, Spenden zu sammeln.
Unterstützt wird damit die Kinderstiftung Knalltüte.
Die Motivation, mit dem Lauf gleichzeitig etwas Gutes zu tun, beschreiben Wegele und Wicht wie folgt: "Es ist so einfach, Kindern zu helfen, die es nicht leicht im Leben haben. Also tun wir es."
Ganz so leicht war es nicht, die gesamte Strecke des Albschäferweges auf einmal bewältigen. "Die Nacht war anstrengender als gedacht. Schlechte Sicht durch Nebel erfordert viel Konzentration", so die beiden Sportler.
Entschädigt wurden sie dann durch einen malerischen Sonnenaufgang und die Unterstützung eines tollen Betreuerteams, dem beide ihren ganzen Dank aussprachen.
